We tend to do cheese night proper at my place. My best friend and I started doing wine and cheese (/gossip) two winters ago with a hunk of brie and maybe some goat cheese. It seems we’ve upped the ante since then.
Clockwise from the grapes: Cambozola, Smoked Old Cheddar, Roquefort, St Andre Triple Cream Brie, Cognac Chicken Liver Pate, Selles-sur-Cher (goat cheese with a mouldy ash exterior - brilliant!), and a Goat’s Cheese with a Blueberry-Pomegranate Topping.
Served with a California Merlot and a Niagra Baco Noir.
